What exactly is iNeedProduction?
iNeedProduction is a production services company backed by
C&I Studios. You submit a job, we review it, and a real producer quotes and manages it from start to finish. We're not a marketplace. No one bids on your job, and you're never handed off to a freelancer you've never met.
How long does it take to get a response?
Under 2 hours during business hours. We have producers on duty Monday through Saturday, 7am–8pm in your local time zone. After-hours jobs are picked up first thing the next morning, and same-day urgent requests go to our on-call producer via the phone number on every page.
Do I need an account to submit a job?
No account required. Fill out the form with your contact info and project details, and we take it from there. If you work with us regularly, we'll set up a client account for easier tracking, but that's optional.
How is this different from hiring freelancers directly?
When you hire a freelancer, you're managing a person. When you hire us, you get a producer who manages the whole project: sourcing crew, coordinating equipment, scheduling, editing, delivery, revisions. You're a client, not a project manager. And every crew member we use has been vetted and worked with us before.
Is it really free to submit a job?
Yes. Submitting a job and receiving a quote costs nothing. You only pay when you approve a project and we begin work. No listing fees, no bidding fees, no subscription.
What does a typical project cost?
It varies by service. Video starts at $850 for a half-day shoot and scales with scope. Photo starts at $700. Audio from $250. Graphics from $200. Web from $500. The quote you receive will always be itemized and plain-English.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, ACH transfer, and wire. We typically request 50% upfront and 50% on delivery. For larger projects we can arrange a milestone-based payment schedule.
Do you offer rush pricing?
Yes. If you need a crew within 24–48 hours, there's typically a 20–30% expedite fee depending on the market and scope. We'll include this clearly in the quote, not spring it on you after the fact.
What cities do you cover?
We have established crews in 32 US metropolitan areas, with same-day dispatch available in 12 of them (Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Denver, Seattle, Boston, Washington DC). For any other US city or international location, we can coordinate on 48–72 hours notice.
Can I be present during the shoot?
Absolutely, in person or remotely via video call. Your producer will brief you on what to expect and when your presence is most useful. For shoots where remote monitoring makes more sense, we set up a live feed.
How many revisions do I get?
Basic packages include 1 round of revisions. Standard includes 2 rounds. Premium projects include unlimited revisions until you're satisfied. Additional revision rounds beyond your package are billed at a flat per-round rate, disclosed upfront.
Who owns the final footage and deliverables?
You do. Upon final payment, you receive full ownership of all master files, raw footage, and deliverables. We retain a portfolio right to use the work in our own promotional materials unless you request otherwise in writing.
Can I book multiple service types for one project?
Yes, and it's usually cheaper when bundled. If you need video + motion graphics + a website, submit a job and describe the full scope. We'll quote it as an integrated project with one producer coordinating all deliverables.
Do you handle music licensing?
Yes. We work with licensed music libraries and can source cleared music for any budget. For broadcast or large-scale commercial use, we'll recommend licensed options and include the licensing cost in your quote.
Can you produce content for social media specifically?
Yes, and it's one of our most common requests. We deliver in all standard social formats: 9:16 vertical, 1:1 square, 16:9 horizontal, plus platform-specific variants for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn. Specify in your brief and we'll format everything correctly.
